Courses

The Education Grid is developing e-coursewares on various IT related subjects. There is the need to keep the universities and colleges consulted during the process of e-courseware development, so that the final output has quality and enthusiastic acceptance on the part of the learners, the teachers and the university system. Unlike the individual professor-centric courseware development, Education Grid attempts to put in place a formal group effort that has wider acceptability while concurrently maintaining high standards of quality in the educational processes as suited to our Indian university system. We are receiving lots of resources, ideas and suggestion on the courseware development from the teachers of various universities in India. We request you to give your suggestions/ feedbacks and resources that you would like to share. The contributions made by you would be duely acknowledged.

Open Courses : The Education Grid Resource Centres are developing e-courseware in various courses. Please click on the above link to access the education grid courses and its resources.

Courses with LMS : Education Grid is developing e-courseware in different Subjects. These subjects are deployed using Moodle Learning Management System. Inorder to access these courses you have to register.

Courses with wiki : The Education Grid Resource Centres are developing wiki courseware in various courses. We invite suggestions and contributions from all who are keen on improving the quality of education through Open Source initiatives.

IIITM-K Courses : The institute offers a Master of Science in Information Technology for Engineering and MCA graduates. MS-IT programme is a two-year postgraduate programme with four semesters of structured and streamlined syllabus, summer projects and an internship.

NPTEL Courses : The main objective of NPTEL program is to enhance the quality of engineering education in the country by developing curriculum based video and web courses. This is being carried out by IITs (Seven), IISc Bangalore and other premier institutions as a collaborative project.
