The Kerala Education Grid is basically a project of the Kerala Government to help to improve the quality of Education in Kerala. By providing such a high-end state of the art facility to the Engineering Colleges, the Government of Kerala will be able to export the Higher Education in Kerala to make it a Higher Education Destination in India. By offering quality education, Kerala can attract more and more investment in the Higher Education sector. This initiative and the infrastructure set up will ultimately help the Government to set up a Virtual University in future with easy steps. Online assessment of the quality of teaching and the student community will be possible to take any strategic decisions regarding the improvement of the quality. It will ultimately help Kerala to access the rich resources from whole over the world using the infrastructure being set up.
