Objectives

The IIITM-K, CUSAT Education Grid Resource Centres and the National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) jointly organised a workshop on "Technology Enhanced Learning and Quality Improvement in Higher Education" on 20th Dec. 2005 at CUSAT, Kochi. The primary objective of the workshop is to commence Education Grid support in the form of CIS using NPTEL and other content to the engineering colleges. A substantial amount of NPTEL content in about 50 courses will be available by march 2006. Education Grid will also work out a strategy with CUSAT and the engineering colleges for experts assistance to the teachers through the Education Grid Portal.
